Dr Yusuf Alshafi

BDS (Lond) MFDS RCSEd

Dr Yusuf Alshafi qualified from Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ Dental Institute in 2007. After graduating he completed the prestigious 2 year General Professional Training programme, where he won the David Rule Memorial Prize. The programme included a Senior House Officer position at Guy’s Hospital in Oral Surgery and Restorative Dentistry. At the end of this, he completed examinations and was awarded Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgeons, at the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh. His passion for the field of dental implants lead him to complete an MSc in Oral Surgery and Dental Implantology.

Since 2010, he has completed numerous postgraduate courses in implant dentistry in the UK, US and Europe and has developed his experience in the most advanced dental implant treatments and the latest techniques. He has placed over 3000 dental implants and has now mentored a number of dentists starting out in the field of implant dentistry. In addition to this, Yusuf has given lectures and written articles on advanced implant techniques and thoroughly enjoys teaching a subject he is passionate about.

I have to commend Chloe (who did my cleaning) she was GREAT. She seems to be a lovely person in general and this seeps right into how she handles her patients. I'll definitely request her on my next visit. The job was thorough and so gentle, she also made sure to educate me on how to maintain my teeth going forward, I can see that she actually puts care into her job. I was called the day after I left an enquiry, the lady on the phone was very friendly and left me feeling excited. When I came for my appointment, I was surprised at how cosy the reception area is, I felt very comfortable waiting to be seen. Dr Galloway was fantastic, the nicest dentist I’ve ever met. I’ve always been a nervous patient when visiting any dentist but here I feel at so much ease. Dr Radha did my bonding which I’ve wanted for years and I love them!! They look so natural and she’s completely restored the appearance of my teeth.You can see she really enjoys doing what she does and loves creating your smile with you. I also appreciated that after the bonding she advised to take a week or two and to see how it feels incase any tweaks were wanted. Rather than risk taking too much away and having me regretting it. I also suffer with TMJ so having some extra time to let my jaw rest/ settle was ideal as it helped to navigate the minor tweaks needed for my bite.I highly recommend seeing Dr Radha Sisodia, her and her team are just great and you won’t regret it. If I wasn’t so busy working I’d post photos for you to see for yourself but hopefully I can upload those at later date.

I have been struggling with my teeth for years, they got so bad through medication & illness to the point I stopped going out socialising. I looked at many places for composite bonding & was impressed by the before & after photos & reviews of smile rooms Mk. I apologise I can’t remember the name of my hygienist but she was amazing too, I also can’t remember the name of the lady that sorted all my finance etc out, she was so helpful & explained everything so clearly, and all the reception staff are always so polite and go out of their way to help you. From my first appointment every single staff member was so friendly, helpful & welcoming, the state of the art equipment really impressed me & I was given a new lease of life & confidence by the expertise of Dr Rooshi. I cannot thank him enough for what he has done & am over the moon with my new teeth. He’s absolutely amazing at what he does, kind, understanding & listened to exactly what I wanted. I had 4 appointments in last 6months with Smile room Wokingham .From my experience, they are the best dentist I have ever experienced!All the staff are very professional, welcoming , caring, helpful and friendly .I had 2 x composite filling done by Anisha . I was nervous at first , however Anisha had explained me the whole procedure and put me at the ease.She was checking on me the whole time if I was ok. I had Invisalign followed by replacement of my old two front crowns and then composite bonding on two teeth. Anisha is amazing, understood exactly what I wanted and gave me a brilliant finished look. I actually enjoy coming to the dentist now because of Dr Nigel and Liz at the reception! They are both amazing, professional and especially got some great humour.I have had general dentistry done including examination and wisdom tooth extraction (non-surgical). Dr Nigel takes his time to explain things, making sure I understand everything and appointments/decisions patient-centred. Additionally, for my tooth extraction, he made me feel very calm, brought the laughs and it was painless and quick!I definitely recommend if you're looking for fanstic dental practice where you are more than in good hands!
